How do i send a text message to someones cell phone from a computer?

Also, to add to previous post. If the person has mobile MSN/AOL/Yahoo installed on the phone, then he/she can receive messages.

First, you go load up Yahoo! Messenger. Then look for a little phone (next to add and IM ) on the top. Click it then chose if they are on your list or not. If not, then click other contcts and enter their number.

there are many sites like sms.ac that helps to send a SMS from a PC to a mobile. well there are many other sites as well that u can get it thru google search

You can use Yahoo Messenger for sending sms messages to the cell phones from the computer. Click on the Mobile Icon (4th to the right) in your yahoo messenger after you logged in. Click on Other Contact and type in the phone number with country code, to which you want to send message. Click on OK after that. A window will appear to enter your message. You can also see whether you are able to send messages to the particular phone or not.
