Can i use my laptop as a wireless router and transmit the internet connection wirelessly to another laptop?

i have one laptop which is connected to a broadband connection, and i want to use this laptop as a wireless router so that another laptop in the house can be used to access the internet through this laptop......i've heard you can do that.....but i dont know how...and i cant find it anywhere on the internet

You need a gizmo called an "airport"--stores that carry computer accessories have them. A computer itself cannot be a router.
