The best thing to do is - get the software Free internet download manager, it divides the given download stuff in to 10 parts and download them simultaneously thereby saving tons of time- check it out, u wont get disappointed. byeeeeeeeeee.

No matter how much you port forward and all the other things that you try to do. Your personal anti virus is probably the problem. Check if your windows firewall is enabling connection to and from other seeders (this is found in the Excptions tab of Windows Firewall ) Stick to one port on Utorrent and take off the check mark beside "Randomize port when starting Utorrent"button and forward all the ports to the port that utorrent is using for example make sure all routers that are in your LAN (Local Area Network) forward to port 55555 (do not use this port use another one for security reasons) Now that all the routers allow that make sure the computer that you are using allows port 55555 to go to and from the Web. If Kaspersky has a firewall find a way to allow Utorrent to access the network through the port 55555 Hope that helps

When it comes to computers your speed depends on more than just the provider, but also the amount of RAM (Random Access Memory) your computer has. Think about it this way, if you order food at a restaurant and your waiter is really fast to deliver your food, the speed of your waiter isn't as important if you are a slow eater. Similarly, a computer with less than 512 megabits of RAM will do terribly no matter what kind of connection you have. I recommend a gigabyte of RAM, but two would be even better. Another way to increase your download speed is to use a different web browser like Firefox. The easiest and most effective way to increase your computer's speed is to upgrade your computer's memory. If you already have enough RAM, then you may have viruses, malicious software or some other software or hardware problem. Hope this helps you out.

Mostly in utorrent your speed depends on the seeders how many are available ,sometimes many people are downloading from same seeder,it will be slow always look before you download that how many seeders are available and how many "Leaches"..Second thing to slow down your download is Uploading if you have a file or something that you share as p to p file ,the best shot is stop share or uploading while you are downloading, but torrent system depends on seeders more seeders faster download.Sometime the best way to download big files like movies or games is to let it download overnight ,sometime it takes few days to download anything as big as some Gigabyte folders even if they are zipped or compress as ISO.

ISP's usually block p2p traffic , but utorrent encrypts packets before trasmitting and this mostly is a work around from blocks. The latest version of u torrent is 1.7.7 ( build 8179) Chk if this is your version. If so then from options menu choose preferences -- IN connections ::::::: chk if max download rate is set at 0 ( this means unlimited) -- remove port forwarding -- and go for random ports ... ( you may have try atleast more than 50 ports ) ... --- Update trackers very often. chk if you have selected u torrent to be added to winxp2 firewall exception. --enable port mapping. In Bittorrent :::: set max number of connections to more than 200 Chk if protocol encryption is enabled :: these measures should improve the speed, dont tweak too much with the TCP/IP settings of the OS, it can harm the connection speed than help .

Try uninstalling your current "torrent". Then reinstall it. If that does not work, look on the internet for a different torrent, and try that one. After each uninstall and reinstall, shut the computer down and restart it. Hope it works for you...Rich....

Then try BIT-TORRENT. If u want to download other than torrent file then use INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER (IDM) which is the best download manager. download IDM from here: http://download.9down.com/Internet.Download.Manager.v5.12.8.WinAll.Incl.Keygen.and.Patch-CRD.rar

find another browser, i recommend firefox, for torrents, i use Ares p2p, they both work great.

:D

Do you have a router? Make sure the correct ports are forwarded to your machine. uTorrent will not work well until you do
