Can you stream live video from your laptop to a tv?

First off, I don't have a HDMI port on the laptop, there is on the tv that connects to an xbox 360. Is there any program you can download to stream it wirelessly through the xbox to the tv, via windows media centre or anything like that? Thank you :)

1 they do make usb hdmi devices which work perfectly 2 Apple TV does just this thing 3 there are other products like apple tv (though not as good) 4 your computer might have a blue VGA plug which your tv might also have this will work perfectly though not "streaming" as that would indicate networked. 5 your tv might have a network or wifi port which will do exactly that 6 point your xbox webcam at your pc screen .... :) that will actually work.. though not very well.
