PC Problem (Screen, Mouse & Keyboard wont work)?

  • Hello folks, Can I get some help please, my all in one HP PC has given up the ghost. My dad was on it when it broke so I’m not sure how and what happened, anyway when you turn on the power the fans kick in but the screen doesn’t come on, oddly the screen which is a touch screen still makes a beeping sound when you touch it, the keyboard and mouse also won’t even light up, does anyone have any ideas what’s wrong and how I can fix it??

    if the touch screen seems to beep when you touch it do you get the Windows sound when the machine starts? If so then it suggests the back-light to the screen has failed. If under warranty get it sorted that way, if not you will need to take it to a technician to get it repaired. But the Mouse and keyboard not lighting suggests a Power issue, perhaps the power supply unit which is internal in these things has perhaps partially failed. Again if under warranty get it sorted that way, if not you will need to take it to a technician to get it repaired.
