Can I programmatically disable/enable the physical keyboard?

Can you switch button commands on pc keyboard, in order to function like an mac keyboard?

  • I'm used to using a mac, but at work we use PCs... I'd like to find a way to use an apple keyboard, but switch the button commands so that the command (apple) button has the actions of the PC control button. Because as you may know, when you plug in an apple keyboard to a PC, the command button usually serves as the windows button. I want it to act like an apple keyboard. Or i could keep using the same PC keyboard and just shuffle the control, alt and windows keys around to suit me. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • Answer:

Unless you have a keyboard that can be programed you are out of luck. But if you can get a hold of the Mac keyboard mapper file and are able to use it in your PC you may be able to get it to work.
