What is Virtual PC 2007?

Norton Internet Security 2007? PC trying to crash.?

  • I loaded Norton 2007 on my pc ,now every time i switch my pc off i get a blue screen with a message from microsoft which begins "windows has detected a problem and has shut down to save your computer from serious damage"what is this and how can i solve it in laymans terms?ive been into the windows help centre but have not got a clue what im looking for ,ive been going round in circles since Saturday,i dont know the first thing about computers and all the jargon and links just baffle me,any help please.

    I bought Norton 2007 the day before yesterday and it took me two whole days to get it installed properly .It wouldn't complete the Liveupdate so I eventually went onto the Symantec website and found the relevant part then I emailed them .They were really good and got back to me with a solution within an hour so. Try them.

yes you load Norton on to your computer, but what system have you?everyone say computer, but there millions of different computer configurations out there. if it is xp, select start, run and type in %temp%, then a window will open, delete everything in this folder one by one, then empty you recycle bin..... it maybe that you have a stray set up file that needs to be deleted. but there are many many flaws with the 2007 version, its full of bugs.... i still run version 2005 on the laptop and version 2006 on the desktop, as i have heard to many faults with 2007, click on the link below; http://astore.amazon.co.uk/scientific-21/detail/B000I2JGB4

Check Event Viewer via Control Panel to see if has recorded anything relating to your problem. If you disable NIS do you still have a problem?

If possible download from another computer (using a blank recordable disk) a copy of Norton uninstall which you will find on the Internet.Load it on to your computer using ''Run'' and set it to work.It will take out all Norton components and you should find your computer works perfectly. Best of Luck James

Did you download the software? Errors appear alot when u have downloaded software & need to connect online. If you 'Bought' the software, i suggest you contact the supplier where you bought it
