How to remove docker containers when out of disk space?

My Local Disk has NO SPACE LEFT. I need to remove some programmes?

  • But what shall I remove. Message also says The space is very low! I am not very good with Computers. I have a partioned disk with 10 % only for C drive? I think( My friend did it for me ,> he has gone abroad now) I think thts the problem An suggestions? If not I will have to take it to the repair shop I thought I posted this question earlier to day but now Cant find it to add this

    If you have 10% for C drive then you should make sure that only program files are stores here, if you have any documents on the C partition move them to another partition. To remove programs go to add/remove programs in control panel. anything you know you don't need you can uninstall such as things you may have downloaded to try but never use. Also check the box for show updates you may find you have previous versions of programs you can remove. get ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com to clean up any unneeded files and empty the recycle bin. also defragmenting the hard drive may help but I'd suggest doing the cleaning before this.

You must have another drive using the other 90% start installing everything on that drive instead. It is probably called D: Use Ccleaner available here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/websitehomepage/FreePCHelpStuff.htm to uninstall any programs you have the disks for that you can reinstall on your other drive. You should also run the cleaner to remove temporary files etc. Also move your "My Documents" folder to your other drive if you have a lot of music and pictures etc in here. Run disk cleanup in your system folder also.

Try these first 1) Go into Internet Explorer and clear your temporary files (Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files and Delete Cookies. Click the box that says delete offline content.) 2) Right-click on your drive and select the properties option. From there, click on the disk cleanup button. This will first only calculate what you'll save by doing certain things. You can then choose which options to perform. 3) Uninstall unneeded software. If you've loaded something but never use it, get rid of it.

Go in to Add&remove programmes select what you dont need or use very often,thenin my documents remove connected files ,be careful of what you delete ,any games or music not used delete all files for them.

NOTE: "I have a partioned disk with 10 % only for C drive" Sorry your info is not complete, How big is your harddisk in total? How many drive partition u have including the size each? To check just go to my computer and right click on your hardisk drives, will tell u how big in total .................... please let us know, so we may help u what happened

10% for C:\?! your friend is a complete idiot. You should have never partitioned the boot drive in the first place. Your best bet is the shop, only b/c you have little experience. What they will do is 'clone' the partition, and put it onto a larger disk. All your files and programs will be there, and you will have more space. If you want to try it yourself, Google "Norton Ghost"
