What can I do with drive "D" my recovery drive?

How can I fix my Recovery (D:) Drive. It will not create a backup file because it is full.?

  • Operating system- Vista. My Recovery drive (D:) will not create a backup file because it is full. When it does create a backup file, it always fails because there is not enough room on my Recovery Drive.

  • Answer:

that recovery partition is only to be used for the recovery software that came with your computer, this is used to reformat your Local Disk C: in the event something bad happens to it, or if you want to restore it. Save your back-ups else where, like to a disk, for example
