Where Is Katz Cd?

My CD-ROM drive cannot play some cd's where the same cd's play well in other computer drives. Help me wat2do?

    Yeah The same problem with me too I think This is because the cds are burned on different company drive ... Let me explain.. Previously I had a sony DVD Writer and I Burned many disks cds and dvds... In course of time its service is ended and I brought two drives for my system.. one is LG Combo Drive.. another is LG DVD Writer... Now I am faced some problems... Some of the disks which i Written on Sony DVD writer.. are not playing in LG Combo... I have tested so many CDs and DVDs [like Techom, Moserbaer, Sony, LG . etc. ] I found only Techom is creating problem in my Drive... Again not all the Techom discs but some of the techom disks are not working in LG Combo and perfectly working in LG Writer... Again Both the Drives are new and brought in a gap on two months only... I think There is nothing we can do .. Because The writhing environments like 1. Burner of the disk is different company to the reader 2. Some disks doesn't support to all the writers. 3. There is a best writing speed for the disks [I prefer to max 24x and min 12x ] which is data secured. 4. Condition of the Writer [if it is in end stage then some of the disks burned on it will not work in all the drivers...] make the disk to fail in some drives...

It happen if your CD drives reading speed is less than the write speed of that CD while burning it.

if your CD ROM was ' creative ' then it is normally happens . or it was another company then Ur caroms lens would be weaker, replace it.

More than likely ur CD lens is dying, it happened 2 me as well n I found it very hard 2 believe, tried various things but inm the end I had 2 buy a new 1. Buy a DVD writer as its not very expensive nemore, it reads cds as well as dvds faster n wat's more u can back up ur data in dvds.

sounds like your CD-ROM drive is out of date, some of the newer CD's are actually written on DVD's, and if you don't have a DVD-ROM, you cant play them or your CD-ROM driver is faulty, or your CD-ROM is just dying, either way, it doesnt seem like there is anything you can personally do to fix it... sorry to say, but if you have to ask about this kind of thing, i doubt that you have the technical skill or knowledge to fix it. i would check with a local computer technical support for a second opinion, or have them replace/fix your faulty hardware i hope you solve your problem

They have cd/r or cd/rw drives and the disks are copy CDs? If that's it, I've seen old CD drives that had problems with some burned CDs depending on the type and how they were written.
