How do I keep DLP screen clean?

Why does my computer keep restarting telling me i got the blue screen?

  • I know about the blue screen. i know it has to do with faulty hard drives. But my computer keeps restarting, WITHOUT bringing me the Blue Screen, but when windows loads up, it tells me, "Windows has recovered from a serious error" And after i do the error report, it takes me to microsoft.com witch tells me i got the blue screen (Only thing is, I DON'T REALLY SEE THE BLUE SCREEN! It just restarts, but no blue screen afterwards!). I have heard of ways to fix hard drives, for example, i heard that what brings the Blue Screen is a bad circuit board on the hard drive witch can be switched out with a good circuit board. I've also heard of programs that fix the issue. If these methods are true, Can any of you point out a good one for me here please? I've put so much money, time, hard work, and effort on this computer, i really don't want to lose it (Or the Hard drive)! If there's ANY way to say this hard drive, PLEASE TELL ME SOON! Thanks!

  • Answer:

the manufacturer of the hard drive will have a diagnostics application usually this can be downloaded as an iso file which can be burnt to cd it will include non destructive and destructive tests i suggest you run a quick non destructive test and just see what it tells you a more in depth test may fix the drive completely. refer to your manufacturer website. a destructive test will BLANK THE DRIVE COMPLETELY you wont get that data back so dont do one of those
