What cables/adapters do i need to connect my amp and guitar to the computer?
-
I have a US-122L USB 2.0 Audoi/MIDI Interface. I messed around with it and can get the guitar fine but the effects on the program im using (Cubase LE) are patheticly horribly lame... I just need to know what cables/adapters I need to plug the amp in. Just checking i have the right order? Guitar - Amp - Interface - Computer Cheers

Answer:
You need a Pre-Amp, somthing like a line6 POD or Behringer V-amp. These provide a preamp to give the sound some tone and depth, and also provide effects, distortion, tuner etc..... Simply plug the output of your pre-amp into your PC's sound card, and away you go. (You must plug it into the line-in socket, not mic)
