I want to buy a 500 gb internal sata hard disk .?

    RAM and Hard disk has no relation with each other. You dont need to upgrade your RAM if you upgrade your hard disk. Seagate 500gb internal hard drive will cost around Rs 2500 in Banglore

You don't need to upgrade your RAM if 1 GB is ok with you, just keep some GBs of free space on your main partition (usually C: ). I would recommend the Western Digital and Seagate HDDs from my personal experience with them. For prices you should go to multiple stores and compare. Also I would recommend you an external HDD if you're looking for a secondary HDD because it isn't very expensive compared to an internal one. (just look for portable external not desktop external because you'll need a separate power source for the desktop one)
