No signal to monitor?

No Signal - Videocard, connection and Monitor are OK?

  • My monitor says: No Signal - I tried to connect it again (always no signal) - I tried a different monitor and different cable (always no signal) I have got two videocard, the one integrated in the motherboard and one in a slot. - I tried to connect the monitor to the one integrated in the motherboard (always no signal) - I tried to remove the videocard in the slot and connect the integrated one (always no signal) - I tried to remove and replace the card in the slot (always no signal) - I tried different combinations (always no signal) What else could it be? Evidently the problem doesn't come from the cable, from the monitor or from any of the videocard, so what's next to look? The computer starts perfectly, the only problem is "no signal" on the monitor. Hope someone can help!

  • Answer:

Computer is off System board is bad. The two video adapters conflict with each other.

Are you sure you pluged the videocard in correctly. Is the videocard compatible to you computer. Have you tried pressing the buttons on the monitor. Does you computer work with the old videocard. If these don't help try taking it to a compter repair place to have it looked at.
