Windows explorer stopped working in vista?

Windows explorer has stopped working. Vista?

• I downloaded a movie file and then when I try to select the file the message "Windows explorer has stopped working." followed by "Windows explorer is restarting." suddenly shows up and then the folder closed and my taskbar restarts also. I tried looking this problem up on the web but for some reason many people encountered this already for the different reasons, I tried their solutions but didn't work for me.

  First try this link to fix your problem http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_fixit_main#tab3 If you still have problems try this Go to Tools internet options, Advanced Tab, and disable the options "Enable third-party browser extensions". If your using any 3rd party toolbars you may have to re-activate them...try one at a time to see if any toolbars are causing your problem.
