Why isn't my Monitor and Display Adapters on my Device Manager?
-
I've tried installing the monitor driver, but I won't work. The monitor still won't show up in the Device Manager. Because of this I can't change my screen resolution or anything. Do you guy have any ideas of what I should do? Should I disconnect and reconnect my monitor and see if my computer will "detect" the new hardware? What happens if I do that though (like will everything erase)? If it helps, my monitor is a Hyundai ImageQuest L705 and I'm using Windows XP 2002.

Answer:
Sounds like you are using the wrong driver for your hardware.
