Your guitar will only give output "analog" signals...(just like a microphone, "mono" signals direct to a computer sound and record sucky...sigh...believe me...I've tried...) Even a good "mixing software program" needs the "original sound" to be "good" before it gets onto your computer...those mixing programs can only do so much) You have to have a "digital interface" between the guitar and computer (like an amp)... Good idea for an invention though...have a "digital pickup" that can be attached to our guitars...

you'd have to rig it to your "line in" jack on your sound card by getting the right connectors. also check music stores or online for music equipment for your computer
