How To Delete Folder with Powershell?

Can't delete a folder on my computer?

  • Ok So I have a few folders that wont delete. Two of them have the same name but one is in my pictures folder and the other is in a different folder which is also in pictures. I had found out how to delete the cope folders before I had to delete the copes then I could delete the original folder but the two that I'm having trouble wont delete. I tried deleting them both but come up with the same error message saying its being used my another program or something else, so its like their both the original but I know that's not true and I know for a fact that the one in just pictures is the original and the one in the different folder is the copy. There's also another folder that has no copy nor is it in use what so ever. I have no use for any of these folders and none of them have anything in them their just in other folders. My computer is a Windows XP. This is really starting to annoy me and I would really appreciate any help I could get.

  • Answer:

Its a Virus, that keeps creating duplicate folders, Try to restart your system and go to safe mode and try to delete it. you can also open the Task Manager and end some processes u think might be using this folder.
