How do I fix a corrupted flash drive?

Can you fix a corrupted flash drive without deleting the files on it?

• Okay I have a flash drive I have had for quite some time, today I noticed it was acting weird this had happened previously to me with an old flash drive that I forgot to back up the files, so today after school I got on my computer plugged it in and was going to attempt to make a folder that held ALL my flash drive contents on it. HOWEVER when I plugged it in the light started blinking, then stopped abruptly normal and said "USB Flash drive not recognized" and it won't show up in my computer. I think it is corrupted and I have heard horrible horrible stories about not being able to get files back and well...I would go get it taken in but I have some personal documents on it that I don't want my mother or father to see if they go snooping around into it when they bring it back home from getting fixed And before you ask NO not pornography pictures its more like interesting fetishes, horror movie ideas, and some sexual humor stories that are quite...err...graphic. Plus not to mention it has all my school work in it too as well as passwords for sites like ebay, email addresses, rp forum sites, all sorts of stuff. And I'm with the school yearbook class and I have all my pictures for the year book on it as well. I am also a fan fiction writer and it has all my completed and still working on works on it. So I am asking if anyone knows how to help me with this so I won't get in trouble by my parents and also just because I NEED this flash drive's contents for both school and for the files I have on it.

  Almost impossible. From what I've experience you will have to relive all those moments with your flash drive again. There is NO way to retrieve it. Not that I know of anyways. Sorry, best of luck.
