Jobs involving computers?

• I would like to get a job involving computers. I'm much much more interested in hardware and building of computers than software. Though I am willing to learn software if necessary to obtain a job involving computer hardware. I'm not completely looking to invent hardware, but more to build computers. Specifically, installing hardware into bare computers. I'm not much of a people person and would greatly prefer a job not involving work with customers (like going to a customers house to help fix a computer) . Does such a job exist? Are computer hardware parts installed by humans or is it something mostly done by robots? What would this job be titled as? Do you recommend any schools? Any other information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
