How do I convert 60 Bitmap images to JPEG images at once?

How can I do that? I have a bunch of bitmaps saved to my computer and I need to convert them all the JPEG at once. Is there a sinple way?

Answer:
you can use the ways that every one else said, with adobe photoshop. warning: if you save them as jpegs the quality will go down. Although the bitmaps take up more space they ensure quality. what you can do is highilight all of your bitmaps and choose the first one, rename it with the extension with .jpg then click yes on the warning message and all your photos will be jpgs without quality loss.

Paint Shop Pro has a batch option that let's you do this easily. You can download a trial version, but I don't know if this is a feature that's enabled in trial mode.

There are a few programs that can do that. Photoshop is one of them. You create an action and then run the action on the folder containing the files.

Open paint on Windows, and then press "Save as..." on the bottom where you name the file is another option, click JPEG and it should be saved as a JPEG image now
