What do I need to know to get a TV Tuner Card?

I'm planning on getting one, what do I need to know, what should I buy, or what should I avoid? I've got an Acer Aspire 5520 and 2 GB RAM.

Is your acer a laptop? If so, you will only be able to use usb adapters. Since tv is going to 100% digital next year. I would make sure that you get one that supports digital and analog. Tigerdirect.com has usb adapters on their website.
