I have a pioneer DVD+RW K-15, which dosent write writable DVD-RW?

  • i have a pioneer DVD+RW K-15, which dosent write writable DVD-RW? i have used NERO burner and load of other burners ,the DVD are Writable but it just dont write, i even tried dragging them onto the empty DVD, they copy but dont write, it say the cd is either full or not writable although i used diffrent types of DVD-RW cds i did format from factory setting, and installed Window XP , dont know as to what is wrong

  • Answer:

Make sure you bought the right type of DVD for your drive if you don't have a drive capable of writing to DVD+RW and DVD-RW. Also make sure you have a double layer drive if your dvd's are double layered. Try lowering the speed to the lowest setting before you burn. And if you have tried to burn a dvd on the disc you are using before you may need to format it (if its RW)

OK there are two different types of DVD Rw's +RW and -RW If your drive is + RW you must use +RW discs to write onto (this is the situation you have described above) If your drive is -RW then you must use -RW Discs If your Drive is +-RW then you can use wither + or - RW discs In short you need to buy Some +RW discs
