What is the reasonable processors for now and upcoming games in pc?

  • I have intel dual core 2.6ghz processor. some games require new processors...i saw in internet that i7 is the latest one.but i cant afford it..it costs 65,000/- rs.its too much. suggest one processor that meets new game requirements with a reasonable price...

    most of you people are blinded by the core i3 performance although core i3 is not good at games at all. . my friend, no need for a core i7. you have seen the highest version of it. a rs65000 processor is NO use for gaming. . if you want it to be really cost effective and play almost all of the games, first make sure that you atleast have a radeon 6770 equavalent or more(rs 5000 on ebay) and 4gb ram(prices differ) . then you can get the AMD phenom II X6 range processors. the phenom II X6 1055 processor is just for rs 8000 on ebay, is almost equal to the clock speed of core i7 and will run any game. . but heres the catch. if you upgrade processor, you must also upgrade your mother board, then you also need to upgrade your ram and video card and you will also have to get a good video card. . thankfully, all these on an amd based computer wont cost a lot . i can help you customize your pc if you want. just mail me or post another question and remind me about it! . hope it helps my friend!

right now,very affordable and bang for buck processor is Intel Core i3 2100 for Rs.6500.it is very capable gaming processor and beats most of quad core and hexa core AMD processors in gaming benchmarks.it even beats all new amd FX processors in games. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-fx-pentium-apu-benchmark,3120-3.html btw,are you talking about whole new system or just processor? remember that processor alone cannot run any games good.you at least need good mid ranged graphics card and that is the most important component in gaming pc.a Radeon HD 6670 for Rs.5200 or HD 7750 for Rs.6500 are some good options if you are on budget.

i7 is a quad core or above...... its for high end applications used for virtualization and all, used in small scale servers. I sugest you to take amd athlon series, because they are specifically designed for desktop and gaming. if you want to go with intel only ,go for i5.
