What programs do I need to make my Dell windows home xp computer work properly?

  • I'm trying to delete programs on my computer and I cant tell which programs I need to make my computer work properly. Also I have programs which I want to keep and there are other programs which support those and make them work properly, what can I delete to give myself more room on the c drive?

    Your best bet is to use the add remove programs option in control panel to safely remove programs. Delete the programs that you never use. Dell bundles some pretty useless crap with their systems, so I suspect you will find plenty to remove.

if you don't use the program at least once a week, delete it. you can always reinstall later. also, go to add/remove software and find programs that eat up alot of hd space, and delete thos if possible.
