How can I make my own CD?

How can I make my CD/DVD drive work (read details)?

• Okay, So this is at least the 20th time this has happened. Any time I install/update itunes it messes up my CD drive. And once I get the CD drive repaired, iTunes says there is a missing registry and I can't make discs from there. I've learned to not update iTunes and use windows media player to make CDs. I usually go up to geek squad and they use some little file to fix it. But I rebooted my computer recently and installed iTunes and it messed up again. I need it to work. If I go into Device Manager it shows it there with error 10 (Device Can not start) - can somebody please help me? It's a gateway laptop.

  That mean drive dosent work anymore...! " WARNING!: 1-Restarting the machine. 2-Turns on. 3-Sould be "one" settings 4-Back up all. 5-Just "boots" from the Hard Drive anyway. 6-Try replacing the drive"hard" with a known good one. Thanks. .
