Flash animator for mac?

My flash drive stopped working on Mac. Do you know why? (flash drive, jump drive, usb key... its all the same?

• I have been using a SANDISK 1.0GB cruzer flash drive to move files from a Mac 9.2 I am borrowing to my windows 2000 pro PC and back again. The key performed great at first. however it stopped working on the Mac. when I plug it into the mac it spends a second "reading" teh key which it identifies with a name the Mac made up that looks like a little box followed by a fragment of a name of one of the folders on the key. Once in the mac the key lights up like gangbusters but nothing I do on the Mac can find/see/access the key. Like I said this worked perfectly up to a couple of weeks ago. all the files transferred are pretty standard. nothing wierd or exotic that could cause the machine to go haywire.
