How To Share Ethernet Over Wi-Fi Without Creating Access Point?

What is PCI Input Device and Ethernet Controller?

  • I uninstalled some programs and then I had no internet access. The wi-fi router is connected to the ethernet port with an ethernet cable, but the internet on my desktop is NOT working (I'm posting this question with my laptop). Then the found new hardware wizard popped up and said I need to install PCI Input Device and Ethernet Controller, but I have no CD for the hardware, and there is no internet access to look for it. I tried creating internet connections and networks, but it won't let me because I don't meet the network requirements. PLEASE HELP. I am so confused. I thought I knew a lot about computers, but I'm wrong Thank you

  • Answer:

Looks like you uninstalled the drivers for the hardware, do you have discs that came with your PC? try them, they should have all the drivers on them. if not, find the model of the hardwarwe and find the drivers online
