Do a search on your computer for virtual memory, and set it higher... I have mine maxed Certainly the more memory you have the higher you can set your virtual memory

Dear Friend, you can fix your virtual memory problem in 2 ways. 1. First increase, your virtual memory allocated by increasing the size of paged files. this can be done by right click my computers-properties-advanced-performanc… and then virtual memory. this will be a temporary solution. 2. for a permanent fix, look out to purchase a new RAM prefer a SD ram over DDR. This will permanently solve ur problem.. have fun

Yes, this will certainly help, because you won't need as much virtual memory if you increase your physical memory. However, you could also try defragmenting your exsisting physical memory first.

Yes. Adding more memory would fix the virtual memory problme. You can also increase the virtual memory. But adding more RAM would make the PC work a lot faster.

no it wont the virtual memory is the memory that is internal in other words the memroy thats inside your pc. your pc should increase the memory should it get too full

yes it will, but there are some other things you can do, such as freeing some space on hard disk etc http://mypchelp.blogspot.com/2006/10/pc-running-slow.html

That could work. Also try right clicking on MY computer and go to properties - then click on the advanced tab - then there is an option to increase the virtual memory size. I hope this helps

It should. Increasing RAM will take the burdon off virtulal memory. Virtual memory works when your system RAM runs out, then your machine will switch to virtual memory(part of your hard drive) this causes your computer to slow down since it has to spin up and access your hard drive. You can never have enough RAM!

If you have less than one gigabyte Ram then you should add more and even two GB will be better. It will only be shor time when most all these home computers will be much too small to do much of anything.
