Acrobat 7 scanning at 150 dpi increases file size from 200 dpi and even 300 dpi, up to 30% bigger.?
-
Took a sample page and scanned it at 150, 200 and 300 dpi resolutions with Acrobat 7 professional. jpeg and jbig2 compression were used. regardless of any of the settings 150 dpi gave me greater file size than 200 or 300. what am I missing here?

Answer:
