How do you send a Fax?

How do I send a Fax using my computer and scanner?

  • My printer/scanner is a Lexmark all in one. One of it's features is it will send Fax's. I have broadband (cable). I don't have a Fax # for my computer (to recieve Fax's). Do I need one? If so, where/how do I get one? Where do I get a Fax Identifier? Is it automaticaly attached to the fax without my input when I send? Thanks in advance!

    Need scanning program then scan it and send. You can easily send a fax using your pc and internet. Check out http://faxfromyourpc.blogspot.com/

You don't need a dedicated number. Any old phone line will do (you'll need a phone cable, of course). Fax Identifier? That's whatever you set it to. You can even leave it blank should you choose to. Set it to your name or business name is best.
