How to get pictures from a disposable camera onto my computer?

  • My cat had to be put to sleep and I have some pictures of him that I took with a disposable camera from Walgreens like a couple years ago, and I was wondering how I can get those pictures on my computer?? I heard that you can scan the pictures, how?? I have a Cannon PIXMA MP210 All-In-One printer (print, copy, scan). Please explain to me how to do this. Thanks!!

  • Answer:

It's in the manual for the printer, if you don't have it on your computer you can download the manuals from Canon. The link is for your printer. http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp210#BrochuresAndManuals

You need to take the camera to a photo shop to have the film developed first, so that you have some prints. Take it rather than post it off because you don't want to lose these pictures. Then you should be able to put the photos into your scanner and scan them into your computer. Doubtlessly for a small charge the shop where you get the film developed will do this and put them onto a CD for you if you ask.
