How do I scan multiple pages and email them into one file?

How do you scan several pages and put them into one PDF file?

  • Dear All, I have a Canon all in one SCAN/Copy/Print printer. Model No. is MF 4380. Can somebody help me to find out how can i scan multiple pages of a document into a single PDF file using this printer. Regards

I'm not sure you can scan multiple pages into a single pdf file? But here's what I do around this: 1. Scan all the pages. Each one as a single pdf file. 2. Use Adobe Acrobat to combine into 1 pdf file: File--> Combine -> Merge Files into A Single PDF. Try Foxit app, it might have a similar process.

I always use the other way, first scan my documents to separated PDF files, then use some software like PDF merger to combine all PDF files into one. If you want to have a try of this way, maybe you can use simpo pdf merger & splitter which is the one I am using. http://www.simpopdf.com/pdf-merge-split.html

Download the firmware for your scanner off the cannon website. After you scan the first page, it will ask you if you want to scan another. As many times as you hit yes and keep scannin, it will put them in the same file.
