Why isn't my DR-3060 Scanner Working with vista?

I have a Canon DR-3060 scanner and have used it for years on a computer with XP. Well that computer died and I have purchased a new one, with Vista of course. I installed the SCSI card, connected all cables. The computer booted and found the SCSI card. It then found the scanner and I installed the drivers when it prompted. It never recognized the scanner again. When I go to set scanner settings I get an error stating that SCSI was not found, however in Device Manager it shows the SCSI and claims it's working properly. Any help would be great!

you may have installed driver NOT meant for your computer's operating system. you did not mention where you got the driver from (perhaps from cd which was meant for windows XP?) . i recommend download the latest driver of your cannon DR-3060 for vista then try again. can't find driver for your scanner. even Canon europe after selecting English language quote Available software for DR-3060 Your desired software might not be available in your preferred language.
