    I'm guessing that your computer doesn't have a memory card reader (usually, about 4-5 slots clustered in one place on the front), so you would have to buy a separate USB memory card reader. Sometimes you can find these on sale for $5-10. Or, you could take your memory card to Rite-Aid or a similar place that does pictures, and they can transfer the contents of your memory card to a CD or DVD, which your computer can read. Or, find a friend with a card reader on their computer, then ask them to transfer the pictures onto a USB memory stick for you.

A memory card reader. Or if you have a newer computer, it may have the slot for you to put it directly into the computer. A reader might cost about ten dollars at Walmart, maybe fifteen at RadioShack.

Either find someone with a camera that can read the card and use it to transfer the files via firewire; or get a hold of a card reader for that type of memory card(I'm assuming an SD/similar?).
