Virus scan in safe mode?

When installing updates of virus guard & when scan is running, my not book is suddenly going to off mode?

    could be a battery problem but it sounds like a virus..... i hope you don't have one. if you want go to Eset.com and download the free 30 day trial. its a bad *** anti-virus firewall. and can detect trojan viruses. "ESET Smart Security" it is seriously the greatest thing ive ever downloaded

hi, First of all its essential to answer this question is "what is the name of your anti virus software". What ever it is, may be a registry virus have in your system. You have need to format your windows and re install windows. after that if the problem continue then you have need to change your RAM. thanks
