How can i install my printer without the software cd?

I have a Dell AIO 924 printer and i need a cd to install the ocr software..?

Unfortunately, no, you can't. The licensing agreement between Dell and whichever company provides the OCR software for your scanner limits how the OCR software can be distributed. I'm afraid that most of the better OCR softwares also cost money. There is one, however, that I've found that IS free. It's called Softi FreeOCR and although it will scan your text to an editable document it really does need some editing doing after it's finished doing what it set out to do. You'll lose font recognition, and document formatting. Give it a go, though. You may be surprised at just how good it can be. You can download it from the following website. Best of luck to you.
