How do I get pictures I scanned to my computer onto a SD memory card?

  • l plan on scanning some pictures to my computer then transfering them to a sd memory card. How would I do that?

    You need to have an SD card reader on your system. Then just copy them as you would any other file as it will look like a drive to your system. If you don't have a card reader your camera may connect direct to your computer. If it does then it will probably be the same as having a card reader.

Do you have a port for your SD card on your computer. If not you can buy an external card reader that fits into your USB port at any electronics store. The first step is to click Open and view all files when you insert your SD card, then you can just click and drag all the pictures into your SD card folder which is opened as a window at this point. That's it.

If you're computer has a built-in card reader then you can just pop it in there and transfer the files. If you don't, then you'll need to purchase an external card reader ( usually can read multiple card types) It connects to your computer via USB.
