How can I scan pictures from my copier to my computer?

How do i get my pictures i scan to the computer.?

  • ok see i have a printer, scanner, and copier all in one and when i scan the pictures they juss print another copy instead of going on the computer.. so how to i make come on the screen.??

You need to start scanning from your favorite photo program that can handle scanning (most do). mspaint is built into windows. also, GIMP is free and can do this. mspaint you can get images from a scanner or camera. you find mspaint in Start|Programs|Accessories|Paint or do Start|Run mspaint Enter or do windows-flag-key+R mspaint Enter then Choose File|From scanner or camera... when you save the picture, make sure you save it as (change the file type) jpeg or PNG. png is lossless, but bigger. jpeg is more likely to fit better in an email. also, when you save it, make sure you save in a place where you know where the file location is. if you have to, save it to my documents or the desktop.
