How do I uninstall the AVG free anti virus 2011 toolbar?

Why won't my AVG 2011 Free UNINSTALL?

I downloaded AVG anti virus software 2011 version like months ago and ever since then my computer suffers from the blue screen of death. Well I can still use my computer but I am trying to UNINSTALL avg but every time I go to uninstall it takes forever to load and nothing pops up, or something pops up and says its been uninstalled already but THATS NOT TRUE!, It is taking up like 64.something GBs! I need to delete it and erase it uninstall it but it just Won't! I am not going to reformat my harddrive or anything now I have already done that more than once. Can anyone help me?
