How do i change a document to a picture?

If I scan a picture or document it always comes up in Windows Media how can I change this?

    windows media is set to default on installation, try changing your default to whatever program you prefer to do this open the program and a pop up should tell you its not set to default and ask if youd like to change your settings click yes and say bye bye windows media. what you change it to is up to you and your preferances. i think aol sets your default to real player but i havent used it in awhile

If you right click on a file, and choose "open with" then "choose program" you can select the program you would like to use from a list. Also there should be a tick boz to say "always use this program to open this type of file"

Right click on the doc before opening and select ... open with ... whatever programme you want

when you save it, such as "document .wmv", change" .wmv "to ".doc " for document or" .jpeg"for image see it works or not, or you may go to tool to change some setting!
