Why isn't my scanner working on WIN XP?

BenQ Scanner 5000 not working with Win 7?

• I facing very annoying problem that my scanner BenQ 5000, which was working well previously with win XP. But now in Win 7 64 bit, its not working. Please Help Me....... Windows detects when attached but when i try to run through Mira Scan 6.2 driver, after short time the message appears that no scanner attached. Need Help plzzzzzzz. Thanks in advance.

  I've only been able to find the following two drivers for your Ben! 5000 scanner, my friend, and neither of them claim to work with Windows 7. They are, however, both designed to work with Windows Vista, so you might have some luck in getting your scanner to perform properly. (I'm not sure whether they're 64-bit drivers, but as it's not mentioned I'm afraid I must presume that they're only 32-bit.)
