How do you scan multiple documents on an hp printer/scanner?

Can I scan documents from an HP Deskjet D 4160 printer?

  • I have this product at work, and customers are always asking me to scan documents to them....I don't know if this product has that function...and can't find the answer online anywhere. Can you help? I also have a Brother HL 5240. Are either of these products scan-friendly?

Hi, Both of the products that you mentioned do not have the capability to scan documents. You can buy a separate scanner, if you need it. Go for one that is less than $100 .Unless you need it for heavy duty scanning. Not more than that. Neither of these printers scan. Some printers have a scanner built into them, to allow them to be used as a copier, a fax mchine, or just a scanner. But these two are just printers. The HP is an inkjet, the Brother is a laser printer.
