How do you text from the computer?

I have an Hp 1350 all-in-one and now have an Hp computer with Vista.how do I scan a text doc. to the computer?

  • I can scan a photo to the computer but when I try to do text it goes into photo format and I can't edit it.

    It appears that Vista has preloaded drivers for your all-in-one. However, the included drivers are pretty basic. If you're using Vista Windows Photo Gallery as instructed and you can't edit from that, then you won't be able to. HP even states that if you need a more robust set of features, you'll need to choose another product (read: you need to buy a new all-in-one). As a work around, you might want to try downloading an OCR software; something like Abbyy Free Reader... here's the link for the product and to download the free trial. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-tools/Other-Office-Tools/ABBYY-FineReader-OCR-Professional.shtml I can't guarantee that it will fix your problem, but it may be worth a try... plus it's a free trial! When you run the page through the scanning mode, trhere should be a choice in the drop down box (it might say something like 'where do you want this to go'), choose Word or whatever other kind of text place you want it, then complete the scan.

beacus after scan your favorit photo is jpj or pdf so it has not open layer you can whit use from adobe photoshop or other plan photos to do text it goes and edit it if you dont know photoshop you after scan it move whit copy /past in new page adobe photoshop or other plan photos and you make your favorit edit on photos and for text whit icon of text that you must will after save as it.by
