How do you install HP Deskjet F370 All-in-One printer/scanner?

I have an HP Deskjet F370 All-in-One printer/scanner with HP photosmart essential software. I plugged my cable device already but it doesn't says that I'm connected to my printer/scanner. I tried different ways to connect/add my device to the scanners so that I can scan but still... Can't. I also tried installing my device with windows photo gallery but still can't! Anyone know how to install my printer/scanner so that I can scan? Thanks!
Answer:

A cd would have came with it,so you have to put the cd into your drive and install that first and after that is done connect your HP deskjet using the cable that came with it to your pc and let the drivers install after that your should be good to go.
