How to install HP Deskjet F4580 all in one (scanner with out CD)?

I am using a HP laptop with window 7 version 6.1 how do I install it to my HP Deskjet F4580 all in one scanner. my pc thinks my HP Deskjet F4580 all in one is just a printer, so i can only print. i can't scan or photocopy :(
Answer:

download the full CD software from HP, provided in the link below, make sure you remove anything you currently have and install the ones listed here, once you have installed and tested, reboot, and run windows fax and scan to see if the scanner is detected.
