  • Answer:

Crop the white out then enlarge picture to size you want If you do not have software to alter photos try the GIMP (freeware and very good but a little complex)

sounds like you need a program that edits photos like adobe photoshop...i have a copy that came with the printer ...i don't know if they have any free versions..and it is virtually impossible to send parts of a program..truly the only way to install a good photo program is to buy one ..best buy...maybe even walmart offer such programs for cheap...a good program will be able to do all you need...and if you just need a re size ...try tinypic.com

Do you do a preview scan so you can adjust it to just the photo and not the whole lenght of the flat bed scanner?

Lee P

sounds like you aren't using the scanner properly. you need to adjust it so only the image in the photo is being scanned. sounds like you are scanning the entire scanner bed. If your scanner has a "preview" option, that should automatically set the scanner to scan only the photo

Freddie R

Scan another photo BUT this time use the scan program on your PC, NOT the scan button on the scanner/printer. You should see an option, on screen, to preview the pic, click this. Once the pic shows on screen, drag the dotted lines to the edges of the photo (when you put the cursor on the lines an arrow will appear), then scan.
