How do i change a document to a picture?

How do you scan a document and change name and address on it?

• I need to change a name and address on one of my bills like my energy bill threw the computer not electric company. I have tried microsoft office but i dont have the correct type like the microsoft office image 2007. I only have word, clip organizer, one note, excel i have tools, picture managing, language setting, and diagnostic. I scanned the bill to my computer then tried cut and paste like 3 different ways and when I try to "save as" the bill is still the original document. What am I doing wrong? Please help SERIOUSLY!!!

  If you have the right software, you could scan and change the address, it has nothing to do with magnetic ink, that's only on checks and even those can still be scanned, not bills, and won't interfere with scanning. You could try using Paint program. My question is: Why? The bill is for the address listed. If you need to change the address where the bill is sent to, but it's for another address, like a rental property or something, then you need to call the electric company customer service number and talk to them about it, that's the only way it will get fixed. Changing it on the bill will be a waste of time since they won't look at the changed address because they don't worry about it, but only go by the account number and look for any change of address info on the bill if a place is provided. So I don't know why you'd want to change the address on the bill, unless you're trying to show that you live someplace you don't for some reason for someone else.
