Why does my printer light keep blinking?

HP PSC 1510 3 in one printer - how can I get it to scan?

  • My HP PSC 1510 3 in one printer is having an issue with the ink cartridges to where it is spluttering ink a bit and the little light blinks that it wants to print something and I think it's that test page. But, if I try to do the ink test thing, it just won't clear and it wants to keep printing a test page. In the meantime, it's jamming my capability for scanning. Whenever I go to scan, it says another program has control of the scanner. Is there a way to disable the test page thing altogether so that it never will ask me to print a test page at all? Is there a way to operate this printer so that I can use the scanner without having to replace the ink cartridges or have the printer part of it fixed?

  • Answer:

Re-install the printer driver, follow the instructions careful and complete the session. after completion you get a printer test page, then you scan that page immediate. this is the completion of printer. your printer does not blink again. you can use the scanner without replacing catridge. ok
