How do i scan wireless from my wireless printer scaner?

i have my network ready all in one printer connected my router which enables me to print wirelessly but i am unable to scan wirelessly every time i want to scan i have to connect my USB flash drive to the printer? any suggestion how do i fix it?? any help will be appreciated thanks
